YieldShield Updates
Hello, dear YieldShield community!
It’s been a while since we shared any news — so there’s a lot we need to fill you in on.
Despite the market conditions of the last few months, we continued to work relentlessly on advancing our robo-farmer, and we’re about to show you what we’ve developed. What follows is a summary of what we’ve been up to, and what you can expect from us in the near future.
1. We expanded the team
Building a unique product such as YieldShield requires an enthusiastic and skillful team. We already had an experienced team of developers working on the product, and we decided to strengthen the team further. We hired more developers as well as QAs (quality assurance) to ensure our robo-farmer performs at its best and guarantees the highest yields for users.
We also added to our marketing team to help us ramp up our marketing efforts as we bring YieldShield to the market.
2. Updated roadmap
After the testnet release of YieldShield in April, we sat down with our team and advisors to refine our roadmap and make our plans more robust. We decided to focus on mastering YieldShield strategies on a single chain first, and to then add support to other networks.
We picked Binance Smart Chain (BSC) as it is one of the fastest-growing ecosystems in the cryptosphere, and one of the most popular chains for yield farming. Another advantage of BSC is that it has ultra low gas fees.
The updated roadmap will be released in the upcoming weeks to give you a better insight into what our plans are and what kind of features to expect.
3. Ethereum to BSC bridge
YieldShield is the first product running on Yield Protocol, with YIELD token being utilized as the native token of our platform. We have worked side-by-side with the Yield Protocol to implement the secure Binance bridge so YIELD can be traded and used on BSC with lower fees.
4. Partnerships development
Our team is currently working on establishing partnerships with big DeFi projects, exchanges and projects listings. Stay tuned, as further announcements are coming soon.
5. We added support for different kinds of staking contracts
To make the best yields available for users, we need to support the multitude of staking contracts which exist in the space.
Our smart contracts now support more than 20 different exchanges, and we are constantly adding support for more exchanges and staking contracts. Stay tuned, we will announce the full list of farms which will be available on the platform during our beta.
6. Mascot design
YieldShield is your personal super-robo-farmer, on a mission to discover the most productive farms, using the smartest strategies to compound earnings, and harvesting the greatest yields that can be found anywhere in crypto. Until recently however, nobody knew what our hard-working robo-farmer looked like.
Thank you, community, for participating in our competition to design our mascot and putting a face to our robo-farmer. If you missed it — check hashtag #YieldShield_RoboFarmer in Twitter.
It took us a few days to make a final decision as we received a lot of cool designs from you. We are working together with our winner @cryptydecrypt to finalize the design and we will soon present it to the community.
7. New website
As we are approaching our beta release, we wanted to upgrade our website, to add more clarity and vibrance to it, and for it to be a better reflection of what we are building towards and where we are headed.
Following feedback from our community and partners, we are currently building that new site.
8. YieldShield Commercial
Our main goal is to make yield farming accessible and attractive to everyone. By democratizing yield farming with a smart, effective robo-farmer, and reducing the associated risks, we aim to attract more people to the platform and inspire them to join the DeFi revolution.
In order to reach a wider audience and to introduce YieldShield to the many, we decided to make a commercial. Here is a small teaser for you. The full commercial will go live shortly so watch this space.
9. Latest developer updates
Our product has changed significantly from the testing phase. That’s why we decided not to write a long list of improvements, but instead to show you all the changes and features we’ve implemented.
We have already mastered all the main strategies and functionality of our robo-farmer and we’re now only making minor adjustments. In the next weeks our mainnet beta will be launched.
In the next few days, we will be sharing all the main features of our robo-farmer so you know exactly what you can look forward to.
Until then, thank you for being part of the YieldShield community.
